Your privacy matters to us. This policy describes what Rana does, and does not do, with the information you keep in the app.
01 Overview
Rana ("we", "us") is a mindful money tracker built by Raed & Ana. This Privacy Policy explains how the Rana mobile app handles information when you use it.
02 Data stays on your device
Your people, transactions, balances, and notes are stored on your phone. We do not operate a cloud backend for your financial data, and we do not sell your information.
03 What we store
The app stores only what you enter or choose: your name, the names of people you track money with, amounts, notes, dates, your cash in hand, and your settings such as currency and language. This stays on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
04 What we do not collect
We do not require an account, email address, or phone number to use Rana. We do not track your location, contacts list, or photos. We do not run third-party advertising analytics on your financial data.
05 Device permissions
Rana does not request access to your contacts, location, photos, camera, microphone, or advertising identifiers. Device APIs such as haptic feedback, localization, and external store links may be used to support core features, but they do not give us access to your financial data.
06 Data retention & deletion
Your data persists on your device until you remove it or uninstall the app. Uninstalling Rana removes its stored app data from your device.
07 Children
Rana is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
08 Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
